You’ve read it before; we’re huge advocates of a smoothie in the morning for that jam-packed, one-stop prep meal-on-the-go in a hurry for a blast of nutrition you just can’t beat.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, blah blah blah . . . you know the drill. So why are you still skipping it? Or eating a carb-heavy hunk of dried-out bread (toast; really? Who came up with that? Why do we EAT that?)
So run out, grab your ingredients, stock up that fridge, and in the morning, get ready, get set, and BLEND!
Wake Up Smoothie
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 banana
- 1 pouch Blender Boyz Berry Blend smoothie mix
- 1/4 cup low-fat silken tofu, or low-fat plain yogurt
- 1 cup of ice
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Cover and blend until creamy. Serve immediately.
