Sprucing Up Your St. Patrick’s Day with Smoothies

The Irish are well-known for a lot of different things. For starters, one of the greatest rock bands of all time, U2, came from Ireland. (Who doesn’t sing ‘With or Without You’ at the top of their lungs when it comes on the radio?) Guinness dry stout is a long-time favourite beer, served in pubs, clubs and bars all over the world. (Who doesn’t enjoy the sinking bubbles when Guinness is poured in a cup?) And though they aren’t super great at growing potatoes (we prefer sweet potato fries anyway), they sure know how to party. Case in point: St. Patrick’s Day. (#Green, #shamrocks, #kissing, #drinking, #smoothies)

Ok, ok, so maybe St. Patrick’s Day isn’t totally known for its smoothies, but at Blender Boyz, we think they should become a popular choice for your traditional celebration. The possibilities are endless with Blender Boyz smoothie, iced coffee, and cocktail mixes. Have a few blokes over, put smoothies in hand, and the possibilities for a memorable night are endless. We’ll get you started with a recipe that is sure to be a hit. (At least, all our Irish friends seem to love it.) (That was the last set of parentheses, we promise.)
